Terms of Use — GeoShare : GPS Tracker

Effective date: 24 October 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sojitra Milan ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the GeoShare : GPS Tracker app ("GeoShare", "the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. It is part of these Terms:

1. The service

GeoShare lets you share your live location with people you choose (your "circle") and see theirs. Its features include:

• friend requests through invite codes and QR codes;

• zone alerts and location history;

• nearby places;

• an SOS button that shares your location with your circle.

GeoShare is free to download. Some features and an ad-free experience are available with GeoShare Premium, a paid subscription (see section 2). Free users see ads (see section 3). We may change, add or remove features at any time.

2. GeoShare Premium subscriptions

• GeoShare Premium is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions: weekly, yearly, and a weekly plan with a 3-day free trial. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. For the free-trial plan, payment is charged when the 3-day trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial.

• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• You can manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.

• Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Each Apple ID can use the free trial only once.

• Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We cannot issue refunds ourselves; you can request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.

• Use "Restore Purchases" in the app to get Premium back on a new device or after reinstalling, with the same Apple ID.

• We may change subscription prices or features. Price changes follow Apple's rules and notices, and apply from your next renewal.

3. Advertising

• Free users see ads provided by Google AdMob, including banner, native and full-screen ads.

• Premium subscribers do not see ads.

• How advertising uses your information, and your choices, are explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Who can use GeoShare

• You must be at least 13 years old to use GeoShare.

• A parent or guardian must set up the app for, and agree to these Terms on behalf of, anyone below the age of digital consent where they live: under 16 in parts of the European Economic Area, under 18 in India.

• You must be legally able to agree to these Terms.

• You must not be barred from using the app under any applicable law.

5. Your account

• The app creates an anonymous account automatically. Your account ID is also your invite code and QR code.

• Keep your invite code private. Anyone who has it can send you a friend request. Share it only with people you trust.

• You're responsible for activity on your device and for the name and photo you choose.

• Your name and photo must not:

  - be offensive or misleading;

  - impersonate someone else;

  - infringe anyone's rights.

6. Consent and respectful use (please read)

GeoShare is for people who have each agreed to share their location with each other. You agree that you will:

• only add people who know about GeoShare and have agreed to share their location with you;

• never install, set up or use GeoShare on another person's device to track them without their knowledge and consent. This includes a partner, spouse, employee or any other adult;

• only set up the app for a child or someone in your care if you are their parent, legal guardian or otherwise legally allowed to, and only in line with the law where you live;

• respect anyone who stops sharing with you, removes you from their circle or declines your request.

Covert tracking, stalking and harassment are illegal in many countries. They are strictly prohibited and may be reported to the authorities.

7. Things you must not do

You agree not to:

• use GeoShare to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or harm anyone;

• use it for any illegal purpose or to break anyone's rights;

• share someone else's location or information without their permission;

• use another person's invite code or account without their permission;

• interfere with, overload, probe or attack the app or our servers, or try to access other users' data;

• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows;

• use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service;

• click on ads fraudulently or try to manipulate ads or subscriptions.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.

8. SOS is not an emergency service

The SOS feature only shares your live location with people in your circle. It does not contact the police, ambulance, fire brigade or any other emergency service.

Your circle may not see your alert at all, or may see it late — for example, if:

• your phone or theirs is offline;

• location is turned off;

• the battery has run out.

Never rely on GeoShare in an emergency. Always contact your local emergency number directly.

9. Location accuracy and availability

Location comes from your device's GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile network, and may be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Several things affect what your circle sees and when:

• your device settings and battery level;

• your network connection;

• the speed of our servers.

Places, addresses and maps come from third parties and may be out of date. Do not use GeoShare for navigation, safety-critical decisions, or to monitor anyone whose safety depends on it. We don't guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Third-party services

GeoShare uses services provided by others, such as:

• Apple Maps and address lookup, and the App Store for payments, by Apple;

• nearby places from OpenStreetMap contributors through the Overpass API;

• advertising by Google AdMob;

• analytics and app configuration by Google Firebase;

• subscription management by Adapty;

• push notifications by OneSignal.

Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services. We are not responsible for them. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

11. Your content

You keep ownership of the name and profile photo you add. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store, resize and show them to the people in your circle, and to people who look you up with your invite code. We use this permission only to run the service, and it ends when your account is deleted.

12. Our rights

GeoShare is licensed to you, not sold. The following belong to us or our licensors:

• the app, its design, its text and graphics;

• the GeoShare name and logo.

We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using GeoShare at any time:

• turn off "Allow track this device";

• delete the app;

• ask us to delete your account by emailing sojitramilan34@gmail.com, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

We may suspend or close an account, or stop offering the app, at any time — for example, if these Terms are broken or if needed for legal or security reasons. Sections 8 to 11 and 14 to 18 continue after your use ends.

14. Disclaimer

GeoShare is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

• fitness for a particular purpose;

• accuracy;

• availability;

• non-infringement.

Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including any loss, injury or damage arising from:

• inaccurate, delayed or missing location information;

• a failed or delayed SOS alert;

• your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. If you have not paid anything, that amount is zero.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from:

• your misuse of the app;

• your breach of these Terms, in particular section 6 (consent) and section 7 (things you must not do);

• your breach of anyone's rights.

17. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded GeoShare from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

• If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, to the extent the law allows.

• Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app or your use of it. This includes product liability claims, claims that the app breaks a law or regulation, and consumer-protection or privacy claims.

• Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any claim that the app infringes someone's intellectual property rights.

• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist supporting", and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

• You must also follow any third-party terms that apply when using the app, such as your mobile carrier's terms.

• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Once you accept these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that can't be resolved will be handled by the courts of India.

If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country, and you may bring claims in your local courts where the law allows.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using GeoShare after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

20. General

• If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.

• If we don't enforce a right, that doesn't mean we give it up.

• You may not transfer these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer them as part of a transfer of the app.

• These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about GeoShare.
