GPS Compass is a compass and outdoor location tool. Its main features include compass direction display, current location viewing, saved locations, level tool, GPS speed, sunrise and sunset information, moon phase information, altitude information, and related functions.

The App is designed to provide direction and location reference information for daily travel, trips, hiking, camping, cycling, driving, and outdoor activities. The data provided by the App is for general reference only and should not be used for professional surveying, emergency rescue, aviation, marine navigation, or other high-precision professional scenarios.

2.  Information We May Collect 

To provide app features, we may collect or use the following information depending on the specific functions you use:

-  Location Information 

When you use features such as compass, current location, GPS speed, altitude, sunrise and sunset, moon phase, or saved locations, the App may request access to your device location permission.

Location information may include:

Current latitude and longitude

 Current altitude information

 Current location-related data

 Sunrise and sunset times calculated based on location

 Location information displayed or saved based on your location

 GPS movement speed information

Location information is mainly used to display your current direction, location, speed, altitude, sunrise and sunset information, and saved locations within the App.

You can turn off or change location permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If location permission is disabled, some location-based features may not function properly.

-  Device Sensor Information 

To provide compass, direction, and level features, the App may use sensor data from your device, such as the magnetometer, accelerometer, and gyroscope.

This sensor data is generally used only for local calculations on your device, such as direction, angle, and level status, and is not used to identify you personally.

-  Information You Save Voluntarily 

When you use the saved locations feature, the App may store location information that you voluntarily add or save, such as location name, latitude and longitude, save time, or notes.

This information is generally stored locally on your device and is used to help you view, manage, or revisit saved locations later.

Unless the App clearly provides a cloud sync feature and obtains your authorization, we will not actively upload your saved locations to our servers.

To maintain basic app operation, improve user experience, analyze crashes, or improve stability, we may collect limited device and usage information, such as:

Location data that you voluntarily save is generally stored locally on your device. You can delete saved locations within the App, or delete local related data by uninstalling the App.

Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We will do our best to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee that any data transmission or storage method is 100% secure.

5.  Information Sharing 

We do not actively sell, rent, or trade your personal information to unrelated third parties.

 When required to comply with laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, legal procedures, or lawful requests from government authorities

 You can delete saved location records within the App

 You can delete locally stored data by uninstalling the App

If you disable certain permissions, some features that depend on those permissions may not function properly, but other basic features that do not rely on those permissions will not be affected.

8.  Children’s Privacy 

The App is not specifically intended for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance and consent of your guardian. If we discover that we have collected children’s personal information without guardian consent, we will delete the relevant information within a reasonable period of time.

Saved location data stored locally on your device will be retained until you voluntarily delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the App.

To ensure normal use of features, the App may request the following permissions:

Location Permission: Used to display your current location, latitude and longitude, altitude, GPS speed, sunrise and sunset information, moon phase-related information, and saved location features.

Motion and Sensor-Related Capabilities: Used for compass direction display and level tool features.
