Partially wrapped Fukaya categories at Helmsley

July 13 -- 19 2025, YHA Helmsley

Mentors

Sheel Ganatra (University of Southern California), Jeff Hicks (University of Edinburgh)

Introduction

The main goal of our summer school is to bring together a group of graduate students and early career researchers in a very informal, friendly atmosphere at a beautiful countryside venue, so that they can learn about new topics in symplectic topology together. We will introduce the framework of partially wrapped Fukaya categories, following the papers by Ganatra, Pardon and Shende (GPS 1 and GPS 2), explore some of its most important properties and show why it provides such a powerful computational tool by looking at various examples. The participants will be expected to give talks, following a reading plan put together by the mentors. For more details about the topic, see Topic & Schedule

Organisers

Alexia Corradini (University of Cambridge), Danil Koževnikov (University of Edinburgh)
