How to get to Brno
The most convinient major airports are:
Prague (Václav Havel Airport) – approximately 2.5–3 hours from Brno
Vienna (Vienna International Airport) – approximately 1.5–2 hours from Brno
Bratislava (M. R. Štefánik Airport) – approximately 1.5 hours from Brno
These airports offer frequent international connections and good onward transport to Brno by train or bus (Regiojet, Flixbus).
There are also smaller regional airport closer to Brno:
Brno (Brno-Tuřany Airport) – limited international flights
Ostrava Airport – approximately 2.5 hours from Brno
Pardubice Airport – approximately 2.5 hours from Brno
These airports may be convenient depending on your point of departure, but typically offer fewer connections.

Most long-distance buses arrive at Brno Grandhotel, located close to the city centre and well connected by public transport.
The workshop venue is easily accessible by public transport. You can take trams number 10 or 12 from Brno Central Station to the stop Grohova. From another direction, you can take tram number 3 to the same station. You can also take tram number 4 from Brno Central Station to the stop Obilní trh.
The trams and buses work on a "beep and go" system, you only need a contactless credit or debit card, which you validate when boarding. More information here.
