Our mission at the GPO is to honor, appreciate, and retain the incredible educators who nurture and teach our children at The Goddard School of Geist. We’re committed to loving and supporting our teachers as they love and support our children.
GPO Meetings
GPO Meetings
Join us for a meeting to share your ideas and get involved in our school parent/caregiver community. Meetings are held on Tuesdays once a month from 5:15-5:45pm at the school. See the calendar for meeting dates.
Whether you're looking for ways to help that are low time commitment or interested in holding a GPO office, we look forward to meeting you!

Quarterly Dine to Donate's at Puccini's (next door to the school)
April - every year, we host a Silent Auction during Week of the Young Child
May - take home a framed piece of original art from your child through our Artome fundraiser. Makes great Mother's and Father's Day gifts!
August - our Art to Remember fundraiser prints your child's art work on several products, just in time for Grandparent's Day
October - save room in your holiday menu for LaBraid pastries and sweets. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, with orders collected in Oct. and delivered before Thanksgiving.

There are many ways to support our school and its staff through the GPO!
There are many ways to support our school and its staff through the GPO!
Shop at Kroger with your Kroger Plus Card (or registered phone number). We are a Kroger Community Rewards partner. See instructions here on how to choose "THE GEIST PARENT ORGANIZATION" (NPO: EP583) as your nonprofit, and we'll receive a donation from Kroger each time you shop.
Dine to Donate - Check below or the monthly Goddard Gazette email and fliers in the vestibule for upcoming dine to donate dates and locations. You dine; the restaurant donates!
Participate in fundraisers OR make a direct donation - All proceeds from fundraisers benefitting the GPO go directly to our 501(c)(3) account to pay for teacher appreciation gifts. Our most profitable fundraiser is LaBraid in the fall. Direct donation checks can be made payable to Geist Parent Organization and turned in to the school office, or ask for our Zelle Pay QR code at the front office.
Watch your inbox - Around the December holidays and Teacher Appreciation Week (early May), watch for emails from us on ways you and your child can honor and support our teachers during these celebrations.
Volunteer - For those interested in volunteering their time or talents to support the GPO's initiatives, whether for ongoing or one-time opportunities, please fill out the interest form.
Attend meetings - We hold monthly meetings to discuss upcoming fundraisers and events. Meeting times are published monthly in the Goddard Gazette email and below.
Share your ideas - Drop your ideas of ways to support our teachers and foster parent engagement in our interest form.
Sponsor a teacher celebration - If you're interested in sponsoring a teacher celebration or gift, reach out to Valerie to coordinate. Example ideas include gifting the teachers and staff a morning coffee bar, lunch, or work day snack like Crumbl cookies.
