These terms govern the supply, installation, service, maintenance, and upgradation of lifts by GPK Elevators.
GPK Elevators guarantees the material and workmanship of the equipment for 12 months from the date of completion of erection or 12 months from the date of supply, whichever is earlier, provided the equipment is used as per manufacturer instructions.
During this period, GPK Elevators will rectify defects except those caused by:
Normal wear and tear
Improper use
Negligence or poor maintenance
This guarantee does not cover the main switch, light and fan, emergency light, and alarm bell. If any third party interferes with or services the lift, the guarantee shall immediately become void.
The guarantee is limited only to repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover any indirect or consequential losses or monetary claims.
The offer includes 12 months free maintenance from the date the lift erection is completed and offered for inspection.
The maintenance start date will not change due to delays in:
Building completion
Power availability
Inspection or handover
Usage of the lift
Maintenance includes regular inspection, adjustments, and lubrication by authorized GPK Elevators staff.
Parts required due to normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or accidents are not included unless covered under the contract.
GPK Elevators will carry out monthly servicing during normal working hours, including checking, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting necessary parts.
AMC Without Material:
General servicing
Oiling and greasing
Cleaning of cabin, gates, and motor room
Attending breakdown calls
AMC With Material:
Covered parts will be repaired or replaced as per contract.
Damage to lift motor or drive due to voltage fluctuation is not covered.
Motor and drive repairs in such cases will be chargeable.
GPK Elevators will attend breakdown calls as quickly as possible after receiving information from the Owner.
The Owner shall:
Switch off power supply if required
Provide access and machine room keys promptly
The Owner agrees to:

Not allow unauthorized persons to interfere with the lift
Keep the machine room locked
Allow entry only to authorized GPK staff with ID
Maintain cleanliness of lift car and landing areas
Provide required power supply and site readiness
If unauthorized interference is found, the agreement may be terminated without refund.
GPK Elevators shall not be responsible for delays due to:
Non-payment as per terms
Incomplete civil or structural work by client
Non-availability of required 3-phase power with earthing
License or statutory delays
Power shortage, strikes, lockouts
Fire, theft, floods, riots, war, acts of God
Any other force majeure conditions
GPK Elevators shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses due to such delays.
All surplus materials, consumables, packing materials, tools, and tackles used during execution shall remain the property of GPK Elevators.
Cancellation charges payable by the client:
10% before drawing approval
30% after drawing approval but before material readiness
60% after material readiness but before dispatch
90% after dispatch but before installation
If the client fails to take delivery or provide site readiness within the agreed time, GPK Elevators may terminate the contract and forfeit the advance.
Either party may terminate the AMC by giving one month written notice.
Under no circumstances shall GPK Elevators be liable for any consequential, indirect, or financial losses arising from lift failure, delay, or service issues.
