A Virtual Community for Scholars and Researchers
Originated from a book project titled The Routledge Handbook of Great Power Competition, the Great Power Competition Research Network (GPCRN) is a “virtual community” dedicated to foster research activities related to great power competition. Operated through a Google Group Email, the GPCRN endeavours to line-up researchers from different disciplines and different places to work together on great power competition studies.
To incubate new research initiatives on great power competition studies, e.g., journal special issue, book volumes, and funding bids.
To spread new information on great power competition studies, e.g., new books, articles, and events.
To discuss various ideas relating to great power competition studies, e.g., theories, concepts, empirical data, and public policy developments.
All great power competition researchers (who are affiliated with an university, think-tank, consultant firm, government agency, and so forth) are welcome to join the GPCRN by completing this Google Form.
All Members of the GPCRN will be added to the Google Group mailing list so that they can get connected with all other members through group emails. All Members can initiate new threads and respond to other Members’ threads through the Google Group email address.
Discussion should be conducted in a respectful manner and according to Chatham House rule.
This webpage has been developed to serve as the public face of the GPCRN.
Professor Brian C. H. Fong is the GPCRN Administrator, who takes care of the housekeeping of the GPCRN Google Group Email and its webpage.
