Attention Gowana Students:
Do you enjoy creating art, writing stories or poems, taking photos or making music or videos?
Do you like winning prizes and awards?
Do you want to compete at the state level and receive recognition for your work?
The Gowana PTA is hosting the National Reflections Art Competition!
THIS IS A GREAT CHANCE TO SHOWCASE YOUR TALENTS AND ABILITIES!
REFLECTIONS IS A NATION-WIDE COMPETITION! EVERY ENTRY HAS THE CHANCE TO ADVANCE TO REGIONALS, STATES, AND THE NATIONAL LEVEL!
ALL STUDENTS WHO ENTER WILL WIN PRIZES AND RECEIVE AWARDS THAT RECOGNIZE THEIR WORK.
We invite students to submit original work in the areas of music composition, photography, dance choreography, film production, literature, and visual arts (e.g. drawing, painting).
This year’s theme is Accepting Imperfection.
It is easy to enter:
1) Create your art, fill out an entry form and write a short artist's statement.
2) There is a box in the front office where you can submit your work.
3) You can also email Gowanaptaonline@gmail.com to submit videos in digital format.

Each participant will receive an exclusive- limited edition- SWAG BAG and a Stewart's Ice Cream Cone certificate.

Ornament Making Workshop!

Custom Ornament Making Workshop December 12th:
Come make a custom wooden ornament (or 2) with the middle school tech teachers! Using your imagination and our high tech automated equipment, we can design and create custom ornaments in one short session. Take a look at the samples in the sign up sheet attached.
Must be available to attend this session.
Gowana Middle School Tech Room 926 (a map will be sent to those registered).
We ARE offering 2 sessions (4:30-5:30 and 5:30-6:30) this year.
Materials Cost Coverage $5 (per family).

Since February 2019, a steering committee of Shen parents, administration and faculty have developed and initiated this Special Education Parent Teacher Student Committee (SEPTC).
Mission Statement:
Shenendehowa SEPTC is a powerful voice for all students with special needs, a relevant resource for families and communities, and a strong advocate for their education and well-being.
Shenendehowa & Val's - year round store
The Shen Plainsmen Webstore from Val's is now available all year round. Orders will take about 2-3 weeks to fulfill and you will get an email once your order is completed.
This is NOT a Gowana Fundraiser and a service setup for all Shenendehowa families
