Established in 2017 (UG), the department offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees in Economics. It also provides Economics as a core or generic elective under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The department aims to develop employability, critical thinking, cognitive skills, values, and entrepreneurial skills. Currently, there are 11 students in B.A. and 38 students’ Generic subject. The Planning, the department's subject society, provides real-world exposure, and students contribute to the college magazine "Renuka Mimansa" for the "Planning " section. Research is encouraged through guidance, and data collection exposure. The department envisage to organizes seminars, conferences, and competitions in the future. The faculty is dedicated to academic excellence in teaching, learning, and research and actively participates in various college activities.
