Michelle de la Guardia and Omar Machado are GovsPLUS' Co-Directors.
They are a married couple from Puerto Rico who have been directing the program for the last 5 years.
Michelle is the Language Department Chair at the Governor's Academy and she teaches upper level Spanish classes at the school.
Omar is the Head of the World Language Department at BB&N's Lower School. He is also a Spanish and theater teacher.
Michelle will be teaching English and Omar will be teaching Public Speaking this summer.
During their free time they love to travel, spend time with their kitties and enjoy nature.
Hi, my name's Jenna Anderson!
I've been a teacher at the Governor's Academy for 6 years.
I typically teach Physics but every other year I teach a Math class as well.
In addition to teaching, I also coach JV Field Hockey and Lacrosse. I live on campus with my husband, Glenn, and our very large dog, Hubble.
For fun I enjoy cooking, gardening, camping, going to the beach, and really anything outdoors!
Liz Honorato is a mathematics teacher at The Thacher School
She is from Los Angeles, CA
She enjoys dancing, painting, and running.
She also enjoys teaching Latin dance choreography classes online
She will be teaching social justice topics through a mathematical lens in GovsPLUS.

Hi my name is Adeliza Rosario and I live in Lawrence, MA.
I was a GovsPLUS student when I was a rising 7th grader until I was a rising 9th grader.
I then attended The Governor’s Academy where I just graduated this past spring.
This upcoming fall, I will be a freshman at Williams College.
Rosie is an upcoming senior at the Governors Academy.
This year, she will be teaching environmental injustice, social justice, bachata and gardening.
She is super excited to meet the new GovsPLUS students and see last years students once again.

Eric will be a senior at The Governors Academy this fall.

He’ll be teaching a class on the ice age, coding with Eric, shoe design, and magic tricks.
Bryan is a GovsPLUS alumni and will be available to help with whatever anyone needs.
Aileen is a rising senior at Brooks.
This is her fifth summer at GovsPLUS and third year as a camp counselor.
She will be teaching a variety of classes that include poetry and analyzing music.
She is a writer and spends most of her time writing poems and reading books.
Andre is a Junior at The Governor’s Academy.
He will help students learn various life skills including basics of American Sign Language!
Andre enjoys learning history and wrestling.
Andre attended GovsPLUS his 7th and 8th grade year.
Dasmin Ventura is a part of the class of 2022 at the Governor’s Academy.
She attended GovsPLUS as a rising eighth grader.
This summer she will be teaching topics revolving around the use of social media, unrealistic body image, peer pressure and creating healthy relationships.
She'll also be helping with arts and crafts activities.
In her free time she enjoys making jewelry.
Jelenny Rojas is a senior at Abbott Lawrence Academy.
Her favorite hobbies include running and weight lifting.
This summer she'll be teaching you many informative electives and providing you with insightful presentations on financial management as a student.
Shane is from North Hampton, New Hampshire and is majoring in History and minoring in Management and Leadership at Boston College.
He went to The Governor’s Academy in Byfield, Massachusetts.
Shane has volunteered with GovsPLUS since the summer of 2017.
In his free time he likes to play soccer, run, and go to the beach.
