About me

I'm Nandakumar Nayar, a guitar and keyboard teacher specializing in Indian devotional and classical music since 2018. I help students experience the beauty of ragas, bhajans, and kirtan melodies in a way that feels natural, structured, and inspiring.

As an active kirtan singer, composer, and arranger, I bring practical performance experience and a deep musical foundation into every lesson. My teaching is shaped by Indian classical and devotional traditions, while also drawing inspiration from artists such as Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, and Jahnavi Harrison.

I work with adults of all ages and children above 8, offering both online and in-studio lessons. Whether a student is just beginning or already has musical experience, I tailor each lesson to support steady growth in technique, rhythm, melody, expression, and confidence.
