The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) is a teacher eligibility test conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha to determine the eligibility of candidates as Classes 1 to 8 teachers in Odisha schools. This year, the OTET Exam 2024 is scheduled for 17th August 2024. All eligible candidates who are planning to appear for the exam must start preparing so that they can perform well in the examination as it is time to buckle up the preparation. OTET Exam Pattern 2024

The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) exam consists of 02 papers. There will be 150 questions on each paper for a total of 150 marks. There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the OTET Exam.

OTET 2024: Minimum Qualifying Marks

To clear the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET 2024) candidates have to secure more than the minimum qualifying marks as set by the exam authority.

• For candidates from the General category minimum qualifying mark is 60%

• Candidates from SC, ST, SEBC/ OBC, and Physically Handicapped category are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks.

• The TET score will be given weightage in the recruitment process.
