Bonded by Culture, Driven by Flavor
Nancy and Ursula—childhood friends raised in Brooklyn, NY—grew up immersed in the vibrant culture of their Haitian roots. From the rhythmic sounds of Kompa to the Kreyòl language echoing through their homes, and especially the mouthwatering aromas from the kitchen, Haitian culture was always at the heart of their lives.
Together, they've traveled the world, exploring diverse cuisines and experiencing the melting pot that is New York City. But no matter where life took them, nothing compared to the comfort, flavor, and soul of authentic Haitian food.
Fast forward to today, both women now call the Hampton Roads region home. While the area is rich in many ways, one thing was missing—authentic Haitian cuisine. As the local Haitian community grows, so does the need for a taste of home. They realized they weren’t the only ones craving it.
Ursula has been cooking since the age of 9, learning the craft as it’s been passed down for generations in Haitian households. With Nancy by her side, the two have combined their lifelong friendship, cultural heritage, and shared love for food to bring you a catering experience unlike any other.
Together, they are on a mission to introduce the 757 to the bold, flavorful, and unforgettable dishes of Haiti. Whether it’s a celebration or a casual gathering, they promise to deliver meals that will have your guests raving long after the last bite.
