The Goulburn Valley Law Association Inc supports the legal profession in a large geographic area spanning Echuca, Shepparton, Yarrawonga, Heathcote, Seymour, and Euroa. The purpose of the Goulburn Valley Law Association is:

• Foster connection among members of our legal community across the Goulburn Valley through social events, networking, and informal gatherings.

• Create networking opportunities for our members to engage with other members of our legal community including judges, court staff, lawyers, and legal support staff.

• Collaborate with the Law Institute of Victoria and other organisations and individuals to facilitate CPD events, policy updates, and connection to resources to ensure our members remain up to date and engaged with the ever-changing legal profession.

• Support our members to experience a fulfilling legal career, and to foster a strong support network for those in the legal community with particular emphasis on mentoring and empowering young and new lawyers in the industry.

The GVLA Committee consists of local practitioners from a range of practice areas and with varying experience in the legal industry, to ensure that the GVLA represents the diversity of the profession in our region.
