Grades

In second grade, your student's grades reflect their mastery of grade-level content. To best allow your child to demonstrate understanding in various ways, Goudy's 2nd-Grade cumulative grades are broken down into the following categories:

⭐️Assignments (15%)

⭐️Quizzes (18%)

⭐️Projects (24%)

⭐️Assessments (24%)

We used a standards-based grading scale for most grades, however some end-of-unit assessments and other various assignments are graded on a more traditional points-based system. When we use standards-based grading, this is what grades mean:
