GottaGo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique user identifier and, optionally, your name. You choose a display username that is shown publicly within the app. Your legal name is never displayed to other users.
User-Generated Content Bathroom codes, notes, and votes that you submit are stored in our database and displayed publicly within the app. Submitted content is associated with your chosen username.
Location Information If you grant location permission, we use your location to show nearby bathroom codes. Your location is not stored on our servers.
Usage Data We may collect anonymized usage data to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use collected information to:
Operate and improve the GottaGo service
Display bathroom codes and community contributions
Associate codes with usernames for accountability
Provide location-based results when permitted
DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use Firebase (Google) for database and authentication services. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
DATA RETENTION
Your account and submitted content remain in our database until you request deletion. To request deletion of your account and data, contact us at the email below.
YOUR RIGHTS
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
