This App is designed with your privacy as a priority. We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect or store your personal information or city guide plans on our servers. The App acts as a temporary gateway to facilitate a request to an AI model on your behalf.
Information We Process
To provide our service, certain data is processed by essential third-party services. We, the developers of City Guide AI, do not permanently store this information.
1. Information You Provide:
Trip Details (City, Arrival & Departure Dates): You provide these details for the sole purpose of generating a city guide. This information is used to create a prompt that is passed directly to Google's Gemini API to fulfill your request. To improve our service, these generated prompts may be analyzed, but they are fully anonymized and are never attached to your personal identity in any way. The specific trip details you enter are not saved or stored by the City Guide AI app after your guide has been delivered.
2. Location Data (GPS):
While the App may request permission to access your device's location, the current version of the App does not use, process, store, or transmit your precise GPS location data.
3. Automatically Processed Data:
IP Addresses (via Firebase): The App uses Firebase for essential backend functions. To operate, Firebase temporarily processes IP addresses when you use the App. According to Firebase's policy, this data is used only to provide the service and is not stored long-term. Third-Party Services
Our App relies on specialized third-party services to function. We do not control these services, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Firebase (Google): Used for core backend functionality. As described above, Firebase temporarily processes IP addresses.
Gemini API (Google): To generate your city guide, the trip details you enter are sent as a prompt to Google's Gemini API. Your use of this feature is subject to Google's policies. For more information, please review the Gemini API Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
By using our App, you acknowledge that data is being processed by these third parties as described to enable the App's functionality.
Data Security and Retention
We do not store your details that is provided while generating city guides. The security and retention of data temporarily processed by our partners (Firebase and Google's Gemini API) are subject to their individual enterprise-grade security practices and data retention policies.
Children's Privacy
This App is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold where applicable in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly facilitate the processing of personal information from children.
