We only collect information necessary to operate GorillaCorp safely and effectively, improve your experience, enforce fair play, and meet legal and platform requirements.
Meta User ID: A unique identifier assigned by Meta Quest to enable multiplayer connectivity, cloud saves, and device syncing. Stored securely and never shared outside authorized Meta systems.
Display Name & Avatar: Used for multiplayer recognition. These are retrieved from Meta and not permanently stored on our servers.
Age Group (Under 13, Teen, Adult): Provided by Meta to enforce age-appropriate content and legal compliance. Used only during gameplay sessions and analytics to ensure safety.
Region & Language Preferences: Automatically collected for localization and server optimization.
Session Data: Start and end times, total playtime, frequency, and device usage. Stored securely and anonymized for analysis.
Player Movement & Actions: Positional tracking, gestures, and in-game interactions. Processed locally or via Meta cloud for multiplayer; not permanently stored unless needed for enforcement.
Multiplayer Interaction Metadata: Parties, matches, results, and basic stats for fair-play monitoring. Voice and text communications remain fully on Meta systems.
User Preferences & Settings: Audio, visual, control mappings, and accessibility options. Saved locally or in Meta cloud for cross-device syncing.
Device Identifiers: Quest model, OS version, and unique device ID. Encrypted and stored per Meta standards.
Diagnostics & Crash Reports: Error logs and telemetry without personal identifiers. Used solely to debug issues and improve stability.
Purchase Records: Product IDs, timestamps, and entitlement status. Payment info is handled by Meta only.
Entitlement Management: Tracks purchases across devices and reinstallations.
Fraud Prevention & Device Bans: Uses device IDs, account history, and transaction metadata to prevent unauthorized purchases and detect ban evasion.
Restoration of Entitlements: Ensures content access after reinstallations or device changes.
Feature Exclusivity & Usage: Confirms eligibility for premium content, cosmetics, or other IAP-exclusive items.
