Skip with the late David Surette, one of the most outstanding musicians any of us has worked with. Dave's playing is on many of the tracks of Celtic Rambles.
I've been very fortunate to work with Skip Gorman for several decades. He is truly one of the best folk fiddlers I've ever known - he has the ability to fully inhabit the flavor of the various musical genres that he has mastered: Irish, Scottish, Shetland, French Canadian. I've played on several of his recordings, and am particularly proud of my involvement with Celtic Rambles, an ambitiuos 4-CD set that was ten years in the making. Below, just a few takes from the recording.
