Gopro Hero 8 App Free Download

I absolutely love my GoPro! I carry it just about everywhere now. I have been following it in the news for some time thinking about the various uses I could apply it towards but never jumped on it because I was always working on everything else. Poc made a few good points in their review which lead me to start thinking further and then we had a vacation coming up, and then I went back and saw it was one of the few things they ever rated a full 10 stars and...ya, I bought it. Buyer beware! I bought a silver 3+ but this applies to the black as well.

Worked great for a couple weeks. Now it shuts off randomly anywhere from a few seconds to 20 minutes into a recording. Resolution doesn't matter. Now check the forums and see that this problem is YEARS old. So you could get a dud like I did. No response from Gopro, been 4 days by email. I went to their site where the have a page dedicated to this exact problem. Tried all the cure alls. Several different high end cards.This is a machine that is a dud, like 5% of all gopros.Oh yeah you can't take it back for an exchange- Gopro policy's customer first satisfaction, well, that's a myth. Hopefully I will be able to send it back (customer first- I pay the shipping). But in the mean time a big disappointment and what an expensive waste of time.

True that gopro has grown quite comfotably being the only option. Some features are just check boxes that they want to have to differ from the new boys in the hood. Still If you turn off all the bells and whistless that almost no one uses like gps/wifi/voice activation it would have drained the battery at all when turned off. Same problem was in Hero 7. Also if you have action camera, get another battery. I have always managed with 2 batteries with wholeday trip of footage. I get around 1,5h+ with 2.7k per battery. Timelapse and hyperlapse take a bit less battery than regular video.

I have a hero silver 7 and the life on that is good. I wish the battery could be changed however it is fixed. I keep it on when mountain biking and shoot roughly 15 mins per trip. It stays on through 1-2 hr rides and the battery usually depletes by 35-40 percent per trip. I wonder if they used a different battery with the newer cameras?

GoPro died for me with hero 4 release, they removed tv out via usb pins which made it impossible to transmit real time video. Their software was always very poor, wifi video stream had delay at bout 8 seconds. A lot of FPV enthusiasts were using hero 3 black when you can charge it while getting

Andrew did you ever buy a substitute camera for action videos after this review? I returned my hero8 for the same short battery life knowing that my phone was far superior. However I need something more durable and waterproof to capture trail races and whitewater. A phone strapped to my forehead is not appealing nor helpful when I need apps on my phone during activities.

I had a GoPro hero+ LcD and upgraded to this hoping it would solve a major issue I used to have but it has continued making me believe it is a firmware/GoPro issue. Can someone please confirm if this is a known issue?

I just got the GoPro 7 black because of the review and comments of someone that has both the Garmin Virb ultra 30 and the hero 7 that said the GoPro is better for video quality and in other aspects. I have been waiting for decent stabilization for 4k for a while now. The Virb is so shaky on the motocross tracks. Do you know if my Garmin Fenix 5 watch would bed more accurate for speed and GPS tracking than the GoPro 7 black?

Different tool, different purpose. A gopro is a so called action camera, designed to be easy to operate, not need attention during recording, easily mounted on your body or sporting equipment or on a vehicle, and resilient under harsh environmental conditions.
