With a robust educational foundation and extensive research experience, I have cultivated a strong expertise in machine learning, medical informatics, and data mining. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (IND), where I developed a solid grounding in programming, databases, and signal processing. This was followed by a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University (UK), where I deepened my knowledge in web development, ERP systems, and data structures. My education continued with an International Master in Enterprise Engineering from the University of Bordeaux (France), which equipped me with advanced skills in data mining, enterprise modeling, and industrial engineering. This multidisciplinary background has been instrumental in my ability to approach complex problems from various angles, combining technical proficiency with strategic insight. The pinnacle of my academic achievements is a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics from the University of Camerino, where I specialized in machine learning applications for the diagnosis of chronic diseases, clinical research, text mining of medical documents, and health data mining.
In my current role as a Research Fellow at the University of Camerino, I apply my extensive research skills to develop machine-learning models that predict patient responses to treatments based on genetic data and medical history. This work involves rigorous data analysis, feature selection, and collaboration with healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies. My research supports the development of personalized treatment plans, enhancing the precision and effectiveness of medical interventions. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong aptitude for process modeling, as evidenced by my internship at the University of Delle Marche, where I pre-processed data from event logs to extract actionable insights about operational processes. Additionally, my role as a Database Engineer at Yantra Software involved designing and building robust data pipelines and ETL systems, further showcasing my capabilities in handling and analyzing large datasets. These experiences have honed my skills in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and the application of machine learning to real-world healthcare challenges.
