Things to do in San Diego
San Diego offers year-round mild Climate. As a visitor you may want to walk the beaches. Visit the San Diego Zoo. Baseball with the Padres. Eat and dance at the Gaslamp Quarter. Visit Old Town and nearby Presidio Park. Visit Balboa Park which has many museums and sites.
Check out Sea World, Seaport Village, walk the waterfront and tour ships like the Star of India, Midway Aircraft carrier and boat tours of the bay. Experience the tide pools at Point Loma, and the Cabrillo National Monument, and check out La Jolla and the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
For history, go see Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala, founded by Franciscan priest Father Junipero Serra in 1769, it is the oldest mission in California.
And for more fun rent a boat and get on the water for fishing, water skiing, and water boarding. Try the two bays, lakes, and the big one (Pacific Ocean). And yes there are places for live music, theater, dancing, and many restaurants in all flavors.
