Working With Geoff

Geoff's portraiture includes a variety of genres including: Individuals, Families, Groups, Model Headshots, Model Portfolios, and Publication Covers.  His Glamour portraiture involves production with poses many people consider sexy, but tasteful.  No matter what type of portraiture is displayed, Geoff's objective is to make outstanding images.  And that starts with YOU.  Finding a good photographer is like finding a doctor, dentist, or a mechanic.  Ask me questions and interview me.  If you don't want an older guy who is bald, and who wears glasses, I'm not your guy.  Geoff does not sky dive, scuba dive, rock climb or do extreme sports, sorry get another guy for those images.

A long time ago Geoff understood that photography is a special thing that captures an historical record of an instant of time, people, and place.  He calls this concept Moments of Memories.

By investing in Geoff you are allowing to see today tomorrow.  That is what Moments of Memories is all about.  Your story, your life.  The keepsakes and remembrances of your life are capture in stunning portrait photography.  Think of the grand portraits hanging on castle walls.  I am honored to secure your Moments of Memories and tell your story.

Geoff's procedures for conducting a photographic portraiture are fairly straightforward:

• Make contact with you the client, model or agency.

• Determine the theme, project or style, and if mood boards are to be used.

• Determine the final product.

• Determine date, time, location, and permits.

• Determine wardrobe, makeup, and hair. 

• Determine ownership, usage, licensing, releases, and hold harmless agreements.

• Discuss as needed, questions and answers for all parties, so that everyone knows what to expect and how to conduct themselves.

• Agreement is finalized.

• Call Sheet is distributed as needed.

• Perform the job.  This is where YOU shine.  This is where MOMENTS of MEMORIES are created.

• Edit and retouch images.

• Provide the final product.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

What does Geoff do?  Geoff is a portrait photographer that photographs on location (see Couples page as an example) or in a studio setting (see Glamour pages).

What do Clients get?  Geoff provides a personal and custom experience.  This involves communication with each client through questions and understanding what they want.  The interview may start with a broad description and then tends towards a narrowing of the theme.

Why does Geoff interview you?  To understand and provide the personal touch, Geoff will ask questions like:

What location will you like?  Your home, backyard, park, farm, beach, auto, or whatever.

What wardrobe is suitable?  Maybe casual, business, sports or something special.

What mood is desired?  Something like dark and mysterious, or bright and uplifting.

What time are you willing to give?  2 hours, 2 days or whatever?

By understanding your needs and wants, Geoff can offer solutions and suggestions as to how to proceed, and to suggest the final physical form.

What service and product is offered?  Geoff gives you a customized and personal photography session.  Your portrait may be an edited and retouched digital file or a complete ready to hang on the wall portrait in a beautiful frame of wood or metal.

What about makeup and hair?  Geoff does not do makeup or hair.  If you desire, Geoff does work with experienced makeup and hair artists.

What is your price?  Geoff has no one price, because of the nature of his personal service and final product there can be no one price.
