Gopher Forest Games is a game studio based in Kankakee IL. We create games that not only get people to have fun together but also help kids have an easier time learning.
My name is James Bretzlaff, a local high school student who has lived in the area for most of my life. I was once a young kid struggling to engage with school work and hope to help others like myself through this business.
Gopher Forest was the name my siblings, cousins and I gave to a big group of trees at the back of my grandma's yard as a kid. We all loved playing back there and would take rides in a wagon attached to a ride-on mower through the trees driven by my grandma. The name Gopher Forest Games is a reminder of the importance of imagination and fun in everything.
