Abby Rose (any pronouns) is a multi-media storyteller who speaks from a queer feminist perspective that focuses on making diverse characters and stories.

Their philosophy in whatever they make is that it must tell a story, whether it be comics and their soundtracks, handspun yarn woven into fabric, or opalescant beads strung together with chains of gold.

Rose makes fictional comics that include themes and experiences from their life growing up in a small rural town. They supplement rich and complex thematic storytelling with a soft, cartoony visual style.

Their compositions accompany their stories with character themes and corresponding narrative beats. Each comic has a unique soundtrack.

Their fiber arts combine the 2-dimensional whimsy and vibrant color of their drawn works with 3-dimensional texture through knitting and crochet with handspun yarn, much like how their jewelry plays with shape, construction, and hand-made charms as an accessory to their stories, or to encapsulate feeling and intent through symbols.
