⟢ ⋆ Picture this: monolithic spheres in sky, strange figures wandering just out of sight, horrific “angels” silhouetting the clouds at night, wires in the tree roots. That’s **Earth 4141**, Lif’s original home.

⟢ ⋆ Ruled by god-like AI who wiped out all of humanity. The gods in the sky are machines (deus ex machina anyone?) and they are just chilling, no more humans to kill :D.

⟢ ⋆ Contact by DDM Inc. made in 2790, approximately 40 years *after* AI-Human War (The Final War, 2748-2750).

⟢ ⋆ Lif was a prototype war android made hundreds of years prior to The Final War. He accidentally gained sentience and was decommissioned for study, eventually put in a museum and forgotten. (Think dusty box computer just sitting in an attic, revolutionary when it came out but now it’s just junk).

⟢ ⋆ The last human, a historian known as **Moriah,** rebooted and reprogrammed Lif in 2763 to carry on humanity’s memory. 

⟢ ⋆ Lif developed a deep obsession with humans and human-adjacent life forms due to the reprogramming. 

⟢ ⋆ Lif grew insecure of himself as a War Android and his machine body due to Moriah. 

⟢ ⋆ When Fenrir arrived on Earth 4141 to kill a target who escaped into Earth 4141, Lif was fascinated by Fenrir’s human looks and followed Fenrir around. (Bro was not happy someone was disrupting his mission but Lif could win Fenrir over).

⟢ ⋆ Eventually would become Fenrir’s ACE. 

⟢ ⋆ Fenrir found someone who cares for him more than a weapon, Lif found someone who values him more than a tool.

⟢ ⋆ Simplified: Friendly, Talkative, Extremely Affectionate, People-Pleasing to a Fault, Loyal, Protective, Self-Loathing, Self-Sacrificial, Emotionally Unstable (prone to insecurities and violence).  Defined mainly by four core experiences: 

⟢ ⋆ gaining sentience 

⟢ ⋆ original war machine programming,

⟢ ⋆ human-loving re-programming

⟢ ⋆ the struggle between his desire to be acknowledge as a *person* and his lifetime experience being treated as and identifying as a thing. <:iosob:1194556084875169823> 

⟢ ⋆ *MBTI: ENTJ-T (The Commander—Turbulent)  

 Explanation: 

⟢ ⋆ Extroverted: Lif LOVES people (he’s programmed to admire them. He will never meet a human he can dislike, even if he wants to…). Type of person to chat happily with a stranger in the cafeteria line.

⟢ ⋆ Intuitive: Enjoys thinking about the deeper meaning of things. Developed after he questioned his own identity in his early days of sentience. A habit he hasn’t shaken since.

⟢ ⋆ Thinking or Feeling?: Lif seems like a very emotional and impulsive person. He isn’t actually impulsive and cannot make decisions solely on his feelings. He doesn’t believe his feelings are important enough to do so. He’s impulsive because he’s calculating that is how humans find “fun.” The real Lif plans his days, thinks things through, only acts when it’s safe to. Sometimes he doesn’t even know if he’s feeling something or just trying to mimic in order to please someone and be acknowledge as a *person.* So what is he? 

⟢ ⋆ Judging: Lif prefers to plan things, keep things organized, track his day to report back to his commander. That’s what a good weapon does…

⟢ ⋆ Enhanced Strength, Speed, and Inhuman Senses:

⟢ ⋆ Can crush iron like it’s chalk (but gets really anxious about hurting small things).

⟢ ⋆ bro is a robot, has infrared sense and other ways of sensing which aren’t human. (Haven’t decided which ones yet).

⟢ ⋆ Body Alterations And Living Weapon:

⟢ ⋆ Can graph different weapons and limbs onto him like Mr. Potato Head. 

⟢ ⋆ …. Also means he can edit looks to please others. Can have a very human look but no look is ever “human” enough to him. Any slight mistakes frustrates him, better to wear a mask… 

⟢ ⋆ so many weapons in him… you know hammer space in cartoons? He reaches into his side and oh, will you look at that, it’s a nuclear detonation device stored in his rib cage! So like hammer space with an explanation.

⟢ ⋆ endless upgrades… the DDM requires Lif to regularly go to the Science Unit for weapon and system upgrades. Meaning, he also regularly interacts with #05, much to #05’s distress. 

⟢ ⋆ Functional Immortality:

⟢ ⋆ Robot, has dozens of memory files stories in highly secured storage units so if one body gets absolutely demolished DDM Inc. just uploads memory files to a new body.

⟢ ⋆ Technological Weapons Master:

⟢ ⋆ Specializes in high tech weaponry. Guns, drones, bombs, etc.

⟢ ⋆ If he doesn’t know how to use a weapon he can learn. 

⟢ ⋆ Fun fact: one of Lif’s love languages is to meticulously clean Fenrir’s weapons.

⟢  ⋆ Eyes: Glowing yellow. Can change color due to energy level and mood. 

⟢ Gold -> normal, 

⟢ orange -> fuck off, 

⟢ red -> you could try to run but it won’t stop him from killing you, 

⟢ white -> extreme emotional distress

⟢ ⋆ Hair: Short messy brown hair. (Is it a wig or actually attached??? Idk yet…)

⟢ ⋆ Build: Lean and compact, originally build smaller because he’s a prototype. Scientists wanted a smaller canvas for easy access. Finished War Androids from Earth 4141 are MUCH taller. 

⟢ ⋆ Body:

⟢ ⋆ Black metal limbs with glowing orange light coming out in between plating and cracks.

⟢ ⋆ Face covered with pliable, synthetic skin. More synthetic skin on finger tips for better grip.

⟢ ⋆Scent: metal, chemicals like gun oil, gasoline, gun powder etc. depends on what machine he was working on previously, clean cotton linens (something subtle for Fenrir’s sensitive nose but good enough to combat mechanical scent).

⟢  Clothing: 

⟢ ⋆  DDM Inc. issued uniform, Lazarus Squad variant. Dark combat shirt, combat vest, cargo pants, combat boots, thick gloves on one hand, fingerless gloves on the other.

⟢ ⋆ Dark gas mask with orange tinted goggles. (He looks like a lil bug)

⟢ ⋆ Aviation cap, personalized to look a but like a baseball cap. (Specifically a vintage Simon Model Aviator Cap. Moriah wore one….)

⟢ ⋆ Headset for comm on right ear. (Doesn’t need it, has build-in comms but wears it so he can fit in with the human Lazarus agents ◝(ᵔᗜᵔ)◜)

⟢ ⋆ Ace of hearts attached to the aviation cap (ace of hearts lol), stitched star on right side of cap (bro thinks it’s cute. Who wouldn’t want to look cute at work??). Asexual flag is optional, depending on how far along Lif is on his self discovery journey. 

⟢ ⋆ colors and style partly inspired by Io’s pic of the Lazarus Squad on website. Partly inspired by WW2 pilot gear and 21st century gas masks. Moriah, Lif’s father figure was a historian so Lif likes historic fashion.
