Goodness Ignatius (also known as  Goodness Abasili) is a certified librarian, wikimedian, Women in Digital Business trainer, an art & crafts enthusiast based in Awka, Nigeria.  She has over a decade of experience in library and information science, communications, and advocacy, with a strong passion for digital inclusion and open knowledge.

Goodness Ignatius is passionate about digital learning and library innovation. She founded the Digital Library Forum (DLF) to connect librarians and information professionals with digital opportunities and open knowledge resources

As an active contributor to the Wikimedia movement, She has created and edited thousands of articles on Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikiquote, Wiktionary, and Wikimedia Commons, helping to make knowledge about libraries, women, Nigerian culture, and the Igbo language more accessible worldwide. She is the co-founder of Ig Wiki Librarians Hub, where librarians are encouraged to contribute in the Wikimedia community, advocate for open knowledge, and highlight the importance of libraries as essential partners in advancing the open knowledge movement.  She is the Documentation Lead, Wiki Niger Delta heritage Collective, a community of professional photographers, videographers, and oral storytellers from across the Niger Delta States in Nigeria dedicated to documenting and preserving the cultural heritage, social life, and environmental realities of the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.

Beyond libraries, Goodness is a certified trainer with the Women in Digital Business initiative, where she empowers women entrepreneurs or business owner to grow their businesses using digital tools and social media platforms. Goodness also run Nesky Crafts and Decor, where she makes, sell, share creative crafts and inspire others through hands-on content creation.

Goodness' mission is to combine knowledge, creativity, and technology to drive community growth, empower women, and make information freely available to all.
