Boone Goodgame, M.D., is the medical director for oncology for Ascension Seton and an associate professor in the Department of Oncology at Dell Medical School. He is also a courtesy associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine.

Goodgame returned to Austin in 2010 to be part of the development of the new Dell Medical School. He leads the clinical hematology and oncology teaching faculty at Dell Medical School and Dell Seton Medical Center and chairs the Ascension Seton Cancer Committee. He is also program director for the Dell Medical School Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology and Hematology. He sees patients and conducts research in all areas of hematology and oncology, but has a particular interest in treatment and clinical research in lung cancer and genitourinary cancers.

Goodgame is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is active in his church and enjoys all the outdoor activities Austin has to offer, along with his wife, children and golden retriever.

Goodgame Disco was a 2D online flash browser game, where you could manage your own disco and chat with other players, either in a large chatroom or in their disco. You could extend your disco, decorate it with various items, throw partys, make drinks for customers and even choose the kind music you wanted to play in your disco. With selling drinks and getting more customers, you would gain exp which could provide a level up, where new items would be unlocked. You could also earn money in ordner to buy new items. The targeted audience were children and teens. The Game launched in 2011 and was shutdown in november 2016. As the name indicates, the game was developed by german gamestudio "Goodgame" which are still active to this day.

Goodgame Empire is a free-to-play medieval castle-building strategy game launched in 2011. Players will build a castle and use troops to attack both computer-controlled and player enemies; they can join alliances, complete quests and take part in events. Goodgame Empire is available for web browser; Empire: Four Kingdoms is available for Android and iOS. In the game, there are three main resource types. These three are food, wood, and stone. Besides those there are coins and rubies. When players reach level 50, they unlock access to sub-resources, such as mead, clay, paint, purified water, and rope.

The four kingdoms in the game's name are the Great Empire, the Everwinter Glacier, the Burning Sands and the Fire Peaks. The Great Empire is the main one, where the players build their first castle; as they reach higher levels, they can build a castle for each of the three other kingdoms, in which they can also produce special resources: coal in the Everwinter Glacier, oil in the Burning Sands and glass in the Fire Peaks.Besides the four main castles, players can have up to three outposts in the Great Empire, which are other castles that specialize in the production of particular resources.

Goodgame Big Farm is a free-to-play farming simulator. Players build up farms, producing and selling products. There are different farms to be unlocked as the player achieves higher levels, and the player can then participate in various activities that last from 3 days to 30 days. Players can also join a cooperative and play with their teammates in their cooperative.

Goodgame Gangster is a free-to-play RPG game, where players advance through levels and rankings in the leader board. Players collect items and weapons, complete quests and fight enemies and other players. It was called Goodgame Mafia from 2010 to 2012.[8][9]

After news about his death began to spread, dozens of people took to Facebook to post stories about how Goodgame touched, inspired or helped them over the years and to praise his love for God, his family and Clermont.

On Monday, Judy said she feels very sad about her husband's death but is grateful that she and their children were able to be by his side until the end and that both children had made it to the hospital in time to see Goodgame while he was still able to recognize and talk with them. She said Goodgame died shortly after arriving at hospice.

According to city officials, Goodgame, during his tenure, was a big proponent of affordable housing for seniors and has worked closely with New Beginnings, an organization that helps the homeless get back on their feet.
