There are two flavors of ButlerBox:
Your device: send us a working laptop, and our techs (it's Matt) will set it up to never connect to the internet again. $99 plus shipping

Whether it's your device, or one of ours, the process is the same:
1. Wipe the hard drive(s), deleting all existing data. We intend to make this process compliant with certain security best practices - stay tuned for more details.
2. Install a compatible version of Linux onto the hard drive.
3. Install key software, including LibreOffice, GiMP, and other essential tools.
4. Remove all drivers and utilities concerned with TCP/IP and the internet (UNTESTED, BUT THEORETICALLY SOUND)
5. Physically disconnect all WiFi cards and Ethernet ports
This arrangement allows for maximum internet-free peace-of-mind. You will not be able to accidentally start browsing the internet. You can create, write, develop, or play in the secure knowledge of an AI and data mining-free device.
Depending on your device, you should be able to use both flash memory such as SD cards or USB drives, or to use USB cables to connect to printers and similar devices.
