PuzzleLeaf Privacy Policy
Effective date: Sept 21, 2026
Last updated: Sept 21, 2026
Good Five Games publishes PuzzleLeaf, an iOS/iPadOS word puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use PuzzleLeaf and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
PuzzleLeaf does not require a Good Five Games account to play. The game is not designed to ask you to enter your name, email address, contacts, precise location, puzzle words, or other free-form personal information as part of normal gameplay.
If you choose to contact Good Five Games through the PuzzleLeaf Support page, information you provide through that support channel will be used to respond to your request and manage the related support interaction.
2. Game progress and settings
PuzzleLeaf is designed around local-first play. Game progress, settings and related gameplay state are stored on your device unless a future feature is separately disclosed. Good Five Games does not operate a cloud-save account system for PuzzleLeaf at launch.
Deleting the app or resetting local app data may remove locally stored game progress or settings, subject to Apple platform behavior and any separately disclosed backup behavior.
3. Analytics and crash diagnostics
PuzzleLeaf’s approved release architecture includes Google Firebase services for limited product analytics and crash diagnostics. These services may process information such as app events, app and operating-system version, device model or technical characteristics, app-installation identifiers, timestamps, crash traces and diagnostic information.
Good Five Games limits its own PuzzleLeaf analytics event design to a small, defined set of product-behavior events used to understand reliability and whether the game experience is working as intended. We do not intentionally send puzzle board letters or target words, free-form player text, contacts, precise location, a Good Five Games user account ID, or custom save-game contents as analytics properties.
PuzzleLeaf is designed so that analytics or crash-reporting failures do not block gameplay, corrupt saves, change puzzle outcomes, or prevent normal local play.
4. Advertising and consent
PuzzleLeaf’s approved launch model uses Google AdMob to provide restrained automatic interstitial advertising at defined post-level moments. The approved launch scope uses one interstitial ad format and does not include rewarded, banner, native, or app-open ads.
Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), device or app identifiers, advertising data, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used to present privacy and consent choices where required, including for eligible users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
PuzzleLeaf’s current launch plan does not add an Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt merely for monetization and does not intentionally use Good Five Games gameplay telemetry for cross-app profiling. Advertising availability or consent-service failure is designed to fail open so core gameplay remains available.
5. In-app purchase
PuzzleLeaf offers an optional one-time Remove Automatic Ads purchase. Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. Good Five Games does not receive your full payment-card information from Apple.
The app may read purchase and entitlement information provided by Apple so it can recognize and restore the Remove Automatic Ads entitlement. Purchasing Remove Automatic Ads disables the app’s automatic interstitial ads; it does not itself disable all permitted app diagnostics or analytics unless otherwise stated.
6. How information is used
Information processed through the services described above may be used to:
- operate and maintain PuzzleLeaf;
- understand basic game usage and product reliability;
- diagnose crashes and technical problems;
- serve and measure permitted advertising;
- present and honor applicable privacy/consent choices;
- recognize and restore purchase entitlements;
- prevent fraud, abuse or invalid advertising activity where supported by platform/provider services; and
- comply with applicable law.
7. Service providers and disclosure
Good Five Games uses third-party platform and service providers to operate the approved launch experience, including:
- Apple, for App Store distribution, purchases and platform services; and
- Google services, including Firebase, AdMob and UMP, for the limited analytics, diagnostics, advertising and consent functions described above.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Good Five Games may also disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
Good Five Games does not sell personal information for money. Advertising and analytics technologies can be regulated differently by jurisdiction, so applicable consent choices and platform controls remain available where required.
8. Your choices
Depending on your region and device, available choices may include:
- privacy and consent choices presented through Google UMP;
- Apple privacy and device controls;
- choosing not to purchase Remove Automatic Ads;
- restoring an eligible prior purchase through Apple; and
- contacting Good Five Games through the PuzzleLeaf Support page about a privacy question.
Where applicable law provides rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request information about personal data, you may use the PuzzleLeaf Support page to submit a request. We may need enough information to understand and respond to the request, but we will not ask for more information than reasonably necessary.
9. Data retention and security
PuzzleLeaf keeps core game progress locally on your device under the local-first design described above. Third-party service providers retain analytics, diagnostic, advertising, consent and transaction-related information according to their applicable settings, terms and retention practices.
Good Five Games uses data minimization as a design principle and does not enable additional cloud databases, paid exports, advertising integrations or backend services merely because they are available. Information sent to service providers is transmitted using the security mechanisms provided by Apple, Google and the underlying platform/SDKs.
10. Children and family use
PuzzleLeaf does not require players to create a Good Five Games account or submit contact information for normal gameplay. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information directly to Good Five Games through a support channel, the parent or guardian can contact us through the PuzzleLeaf Support page so we can review the request.
11. International processing
Apple and Google may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their legal, contractual and security safeguards. Applicable regional consent and privacy rights continue to apply as required by law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if PuzzleLeaf’s features, service providers, data practices or legal requirements materially change. The updated policy will show a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be handled consistently with applicable law and platform requirements.
