If you have owned a house with Single-Paned windows in a cold climate, you know all about winter condensation issues. This is when water accumulates on your windows due to the temperature difference between the house’s interior and exterior. Single-Paned windows also transfer the cold into your home and provide little to zero energy efficiency. By using clear laminated Double-Paned windows, it can reduce energy usage by up to 24% in the winter months and up to 18% during the summer. + Additional Goobi Glass colors means even less energy usage and even more savings.

Our colors hold a U-factor between 0.90-1.02, almost equal to Triple-Paned windows at a U-factor of 0.80 (with a lower percentage meaning the greater energy savings), only with using our color in one sheet of glass. Plus while using our thicker glass options, the ratings would drastically increase even more than the standards of a Tripled-Paned window.

While still being compared to standard Double-Paned windows, with an average U-factor of 1.60; meaning just by using our colors alone, we have one of the greatest resistances to heat flow and better insulation.
