Gonzalo Iberti is a academic and finance professional with a robust background in economics and finance. My expertise is showcased through a blend of educational achievements and practical experiences. Gonzalo is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Santiago, Chile, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and academic excellence. 

My academic journey includes a Master's in Applied Finance from Universidad del Desarrollo, Santiago, Chile, and a Master's in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago. Additionally, he holds a Master's in Applied Economics from the Centro de Economía Aplicada, Universidad de Chile, Santiago, and a degree in Commercial Engineering from Universidad de Central de Chile. 

Professionally, Gonzalo has made significant contributions to academia as the Academic Director of the Master's program in Finance and Investments at Universidad Diego Portales and as a Professor of various finance and economics courses. His teaching spans several institutions, covering topics like Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Financial Markets. 

Gonzalo's professional journey is marked by significant roles in both academia and the finance industry, including a notable position at the Inter-American Development Bank (BID) in Washington D.C . He served as a Consultant at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL), focusing on the economic monitoring of external sectors. He also held strategic positions at the Financial Analysis Unit of the Ministry of Finance and the Studies Department of the Chilean Construction Chamber. His tenure at the Financial Market Commission (CMF) of Chile, formerly known as the Superintendency of Banks and Financial Institutions (SBIF).
