GONGO (aka Derek Calderon) is a 20-year-old filmmaker and creative producer from San Juan, Puerto Rico, currently completing his studies at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Orlando. He is set to graduate in mid-2025 and is actively seeking opportunities in any Spanish-speaking country.

Derek has developed a strong voice through directing and producing music videos and streetwear content, while also working as a commissioned videographer and gaining on-set experience in larger productions. Feel free to explore the videos featured in this portfolio to see his work firsthand. 

He is also the founder of LU-KEY, an interactive marketing service with an upcycled fashion brand called Lu+Key Reconstructed.

Beyond film, Derek is passionate about artist management and event production. He currently manages artists CANDE and FE7O, and has collaborated closely with talents such as ONTiNO!, 100GrandKids, PUKI, Duo Deleite, Enyel C, Gyanma Laboy, Flouses, LOCKWARD, Moffa, Jotaerre and many more.

As a producer, Derek is the mind behind Manifiesto Fest, a sustainability-focused fashion and music event which has held two successful, sold-out editions in 2024 and 2025. His love for event production was born when he produced the 100gk Music Festival 2021 at 907 and the Lu+Key Reconstructed Fashion Show + 100gk Music Festival 2022 at El Nie Bar. Also his production experience also includes being part of the team behind events such as the DPNC Release Party at Treehouse & BRAVA, and 100gk Music Festival 2023.
