Golf University's core features depend on location access. We collect location data in the following ways:
• Foreground Location: Collected while you have the app open and are actively using GPS-dependent features such as GPS yardage, the AI Caddie, shot tracking, and tee time search
• Approximate Location: Used when searching for nearby courses if precise GPS is not required
You may revoke location permissions at any time in your device settings. Note that disabling location will limit the GPS yardage, shot tracking, AI Caddie, and tee time search features. Golf University does not collect location data while the app is closed or running in the background.
The Swing Lab feature requires camera access to record your golf swing. Video recordings are processed by Golf University's AI engine to deliver feedback. You control when to record; Golf University does not access your camera at any other time.
The voice-powered tee time search feature requires microphone access to process your spoken queries. Voice data is used only to interpret your tee time search request and is not stored permanently.
