**Friendly Game** is the perfect mode when 1–4 players are about to play a regular round together. Follow the steps below and you'll be up and running in no time.
1. Start the app
Open **Golf Team Match** and tap **PLAY** on the landing page. If you're logged in, your players and courses are saved automatically – making your next round even faster.
💡 **Tip:** Got a round in progress? Tap **RESUME** to continue where you left off.
2. Add players
Choose the number of rounds and add the players to the ball:
**Manually:** Enter *Name*, *HCP*, choose gender and tap **+**.
**Saved players:** Tap **LOAD SAVED PLAYERS** to fetch them from your player bank.
💡 **Tip:** If you're logged in, your own profile is added automatically with a **ME** tag.
3. Choose course and tee
Search for a course, pick one of your saved courses, or tap **OWN COURSE** to create one manually. If you want to set the tee per player, tap **CHOOSE TEES**. Otherwise tap **START NOW**.
⚠️ **Default tees are used automatically:** If you don't choose tees and continue directly, default tees apply – **yellow tee for men** and **red tee for women**.
4. Choose format and distribute the ball
Pick how you want to play:
**Stableford** (Points)
**Stroke Play**
**Maximum Score**
Optionally tick **Enable Eclectic** if you're playing several rounds and want each player's best score per hole counted. If you have multiple balls – tap **DISTRIBUTE** to split players evenly. Finish with **START MATCH**.
5. Play and score
Enter strokes with **+** and **–** for each player and tap **SAVE HOLE** when everyone is done. The Top 4 leaderboard updates live after every hole. Swipe left/right or tap the hole numbers at the top to navigate.
💡 **Invite players:** Share the code from the header (e.g. `7YBB7L`) so others can join from the landing page via **JOIN WITH CODE**.
6. Finish the match
Once the last hole is recorded, **MATCH COMPLETE** is shown with a top‑3 podium and a final table for *Gross*, *Net*, *+/-* and *Points*. Tap **SHARE RESULTS** to send the result to friends or social media.
💡 **Tip:** The result is saved automatically to your history if you're logged in.
