Barnet Received Over 1000 Responses!
As you may be aware, Transport for London (TfL) have asked Barnet Council to prepare a planning brief to help shape any future development of Golders Green Bus and Underground Stations, the marshalling yard, depot and sidings.
LB Barnet has produced a draft Planning Brief. The Brief has to be approved by LB Barnet’s Policy and Resources Committee and then it would be contained in their plans for the future. It is clear that TfL are thinking of making a planning application, the scale of which is unknown.
We are pleased Barnet Council has agreed to extend the deadline for responses to this consultation by 2 weeks. This was on learning from us that many residents and businesses affected who should have received information from Barnet had not done so.
To help you respond to the plan, this site puts across the Planning Brief, a list of concerns raised by local residents, the response from Golders Green Station Action Group, latest news and how you can take action. Please make a donation to support our work.
Your response to the Planning Brief must be in by 25 May 2017 at 5pm by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to Planning Policy Manager - Strategic Planning and Regeneration, London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 high Road, London, N20 0EJ.
This is your opportunity to provide reasonable responses. You can explain your opinions. It is important to have as many responses as possible from individuals, including those living in the same residence.
Please join the many residents (already over 250 have registered interest with us) who object to this potential development plan. We have been in contact and will liaise with the HGS Trust and HGS Residents Association.
