Rookie point guard Ja Morant leads the Memphis attack, averaging 18.2 points per game and 6.4 assists. With Morant leading the attack from the outside, Jonas Valanciunas is leading it from the inside, averaging 17.2 points and 9.7 rebounds, including 2.3 offensive boards per game, providing a needed force inside on both ends of the court. Second-year pro Jaren Jackson Jr. is also enjoying a successful season, averaging 16.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest.
