At Golden Sky Bakery & Catering, it all starts with a love for sharing good food with good people.
Founded right here in North Idaho by Skyla Sedlacek, Golden Sky grew from years of baking for family, friends, and anyone who was lucky enough to be nearby when something came out of the oven. What began as a simple joy turned into something more—a way to bring people together and make everyday moments feel a little more special.
After a career built around creating great experiences, starting Golden Sky felt like the perfect next step. It’s where passion meets purpose, and where homemade treats meet real-life celebrations.
From sunrise to sunset, we’re here to make things easy and elevated. Whether it’s fresh morning bites before a big presentation, a beautifully curated spread for a wedding morning, or desserts designed to satisfy a range of tastes, every offering is made with intention and attention to detail.

Golden Sky is an insured home based cottage bakery. All items are baked in a home kitchen and follow standards set by Panhandle Health Distrtcit Cottage Food Laws.
What areas do you serve?

We are based in Hayden, Idaho. We serve the majority of the surrounding areas!
Due to Cottage food laws, we unforutnaelty are not able to travel to Washington. We are working to change our classification, so stay tuned!

We are currently booking through the end of 2026. Please book your cake bar service 1 month prior to your event date. But still reach out, we may be free!

Custom cake orders need to be made at least 1 week in advanced. If you are ordering for a wedding, please reach out at least 1 month in advanced.

Once your order is confimed, we will send an invoice to pay online.
For Sunrise Orders, full payment is due upon order confirmation.
For Sunset Orders, 50% down is due upon order confirmation with the remainder due 14 days before your event. If your order is made 13 or less days before your event, full payment is due upon order confirmation.

For Sunrise Orders
100% refund when cancelled 3 or more days out.
50% refund when cancelled 2 days out.
0% refund when cancelled the day before or day of.
You may postpone your order, up to 2 weeks, without penalty with 1 or more days notice.
For Sunset Orders
100% refund when cancelled 30 days out.
50% refund when cancelled 7-29 days out.
0% refund when cancelled within the week of your event.
