I started as a dog lover when I was a kid (in the 1980s), it was a rainy day, I and my brother were peeping out the window enjoying the rain. The whole place was flooded and suddenly we hear the whining of two little puppies at our door. I and my brother whined to our mother to take the puppies inside and care for them. My mom being a die-hard dog lover, took them in and named them Bingo and Pinky. From then on, we have had dogs at home or been in houses that had dogs.

As I was a workaholic and working night shifts, my health went down and I underwent spine surgery in 2006. In spite of doctors advising me against working late night shifts, being in the working middle class, I had to work night shifts for another two years in the ITES sector. In 2008, my condition got even worse and I had to take early retirement from my job, as I couldn't continue sitting for more than 2-3 hours. My only source of income came to a stop and I was unable to pursue another job. Didn't have any financial backups and was in complete depression. After a couple of months, I received some PF settlement from my last employer and with that fund I started Jonah Aquarium and Pet Centre in the year 2008. Later wisdom hit, stopped all the commercial breeding processes, and started the Ethical breeding process by adopting my first Golden retriever Simba. In later years, retained his daughter Molly, then his grand daughter Shiney and thus the birth of Golden Simba Kennels in the year 2012. Special mention to my family members, especially my daughter Monica and my son Malcolm, without them this is not possible and now Monica & Malcolm runs the show and I'm more of an assistant.
