Teaching Philosophy
After graduating from the University of Essex with a Ph.D. in Psychology, I became an Associate Tutor with the University of Essex Online. Most recently, I also joined the University of Essex International College as a Sessional Tutor. I am an enthusiastic teacher and I aim to provide a high quality service to future scientists through the means of in-depth discussions of psychological theory, recent research, open-discussion seminars, practical workshops, and by providing constructive feedback on module assessments. I teach and deliver various modules within my expertise at ungergraduate and postgraduate level. I encourage critical thinking and engagement throughout the modules delivered. I love to create interactive lectures that demonstrate psychological theory to students and welcome different learning styles. Furthermore, I enjoy delivering pastoral care to students and mentoring them on a one-to-one basis. I am also very happy to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation projects within my area of expertise.
