In Utah, marriage licenses have no waiting period, but your ceremony must take place within 32 days of the issue date. Our recommendation is to obtain your license 10-14 days before your ceremony. This allows time to address any application issues and flexibility in case of a needed postponement. If a license isn't used within 32 days, it expires, and a new application and fee are required for a replacement.
