C.H.I.P

C.H.I.P stands for Children's Health Insurance Program which is funded by states and the federal government, but managed by states. Children eligible for C.H.I.P are in families with incomes too high to qualify for Medicaid, but too low to afford private coverage. C.H.I.P provides health coverage to eligible children through both Medicaid and separate C.H.I.P programs
