OUR HISTORY
Since the 1990s, our family has been making a living by selling green Pineapple. In 1995, a Taiwanese company and Mandalay Chanmyatasi started supplying and selling raw materials to the Pineapple Cans processing plant. Since that time, we had the idea to produce and sell pineapple cans and drinks and have begun to study the sciences related to production.
From 1997-98, we supplied and sold pineapple raw materials to a pineapple pulp factory in Bagu 10 Mai Hill. Since then, as a first step, in 2009, we purchased 100 acres of land to grow pineapples and started cultivating pineapples. Since then, we have tried to start pineapple production in connection with a Sri Lankan company.
We began Golding Pineapple Company, Ltd. the Pineapple product producing Company in Shan State in 2017. Currently, Golden Pineapple is cultivated and processed approximately (220) acres (89km2) of pineapple. Golden Pineapple has been in collaboration with 97 farmers in the cultivation of organic pineapple using organic farming techniques since 2015. GP has been supplying CBL Company in Yangon with raw pineapple (2000 tons per year) for Dry Pineapple processing since 2015 to date. GP also supplies fresh pineapple to China. The china market has been consuming about 200 tons per day since 2015.
Golden Pineapple commenced the construction of its factory in 2017 at which time it also started processing the pineapple product as dried pineapple, pineapple juice, and canned pineapple canned in 2018. Initially, Golden Pineapple was run the Company employing 11 full-time staff and 25 daily laborers.
Golden Pineapple was certified and received the Local and USA‘s FDA certificate in 2018. It also received the Organic Statement certificate in 2018 – 2019 (From Myanmar and the European Union) and the Organic statement in 2019- 2020 (From Japan and USA). The Halal certificate was awarded in 2019. Initially, the company processed Canned Pineapple, Dried Pineapple, and Pineapple Juice. Over the years, production has expanded to include other canned fruit juices.

Our Organic Pineapple Farm
Golden Pineapple Company is located in Nang Yann Village, 20 miles away from Hsipaw Township in northern Shan State. The location of the farm is located on the mountain, making the pineapple farm known as Golden Pineapple Agriculture. There are 10 villages in the Nang Yann village group, and it is a green mountain area where pineapples are grown the most. We grow organic pineapples and GAP pineapples commercially and grow corn, mango, Rice and chilies are grown for food.
Our farm located in the city of Hsipaw is above 1340 feet from sea level. Cultivated pineapple in Northern Shan State is originally come from Hawaii variety from England and Shan Saw Bwa bring this variety for over a hundred years. Since this time some of the local Shan ethnicity cultivated the pineapple. Nowadays, GP and all of the local pineapple growers have tried to register pineapple variety as “Northern Shan State Variety". Our pineapple harvesting season is two times per year, the first season from Jun to Sept and the second season from Nov to March.
