After immigrating from India in 2005, we decided to open our restaurant in 2012 in the diverse neighbourhood of Etobicoke (Toronto), that reflects our Chinese culture and Indian roots and to bring a smile of satisfaction to all our patrons. We named it “Golden Joy” to evoke great joy in everyone that hears it.

Our family-owned restaurant has been serving customers with Authentic Hakka Chinese Food for over a decade, specializing in the Kolkata style chinese food that our friends fondly refer to as "DESI STYLE". We make sure our food are made with the best hand-picked quality ingredients and our customer service is second to none. That is why at "Golden Joy", our customers can choose what they want on their plate; all dishes are customizable.
