Hanna grew up near Pittsburgh, PA where she played soccer at Penn Trafford High School then continued on to play Division II soccer at Seton Hill University; she captained the team her final year in both her high school and college programs. After graduating college, Hanna moved to Columbus, OH and played with the Columbus Eagles, Columbus’ WPSL (Women’s Premier Soccer League) team. Hanna moved to Denver, CO in 2022 and shortly after began coaching for the Colorado Edge club soccer program. She continues to play competitively as much as she can.

In her professional life, Hanna works in Investor Relations for an asset management firm in the tax credits industry. Prior to joining the asset management company, she worked as a tax credit underwriter for a Fortune 100 insurance company. Earlier in her career, she worked as an actuarial specialist with a Fortune 100 firm. She earned her MBA with an accounting specialization, and BA in mathematics/actuarial science with specializations in finance and accounting, from Seton Hill University.
