Gold Country Ghost Tours & Stage Performances

By purchasing a ticket or participating in any Gold Country Ghost Tour experience, you agree to the following terms, including our legal waiver and release of liability.

📜 In Plain English

When you buy tickets and join us for a tour or stage performance, you agree:

• I am participating voluntarily and will follow instructions.
  
  

• I am in good health, and so are any children in my care.
  
  

• I understand there are risks in walking, being in public, or attending live events.
  
  

• I accept full responsibility for myself and any children I bring.
  
  

• If I get hurt, lose something, or damage property — that’s on me.
  
  

• I won’t hold Gold Country Ghost Tours responsible for injuries, illness, loss, or damage.
  
  

• I agree not to sue. If I do, I will cover the tour’s legal expenses.
  
  

• I may appear in photos or videos used for promotional purposes. No compensation will be provided.
  
  

• If any part of this agreement is invalid, the rest still applies.
  
  

🧾 Legal Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Follow Instructions

I agree to observe all posted rules and follow directions from Gold Country Ghost Tours staff, guides, or volunteers.

2. Voluntary Participation

I understand my participation is voluntary and I’ve ensured others I purchased tickets for are aware of and included in this waiver.

3. Statement of Good Health

I affirm that I and any minors in my care are in good physical and mental health and capable of safely participating.

4. Responsibility for Damages

I agree to pay for any damages I or my party cause to Gold Country Ghost Tours property or third-party facilities.

5. Understanding Risks

I acknowledge the inherent risks of attending walking tours or public events, which may include (but are not limited to):

• Uneven surfaces, wet or slippery areas, curbs, steps, debris
  
  

• Sudden weather changes
  
  

• Traffic, construction, and other public hazards
  
  

• Physical exertion
  
  

• Insects, animals, or environmental risks
  
  

6. Assumption of Risk

I accept all personal risk for injury, loss, or damage during any Gold Country Ghost Tour activity or event.

7. Release of Liability

I release Gold Country Ghost Tours, including its owners, staff, contractors, volunteers, affiliates, and partners (collectively “Released Entities”), from all claims related to injury, loss, or damage, even if caused by negligence.

8. Indemnity Agreement

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Entities against any claims or damages resulting from my actions during the tour.

9. Use of Likeness – Promotion Release

I grant Gold Country Ghost Tours full permission to use photos, videos, or recordings of me (or minors in my care) taken during tours for any purpose, including marketing, social media, print, and digital promotion.
I understand Gold Country Ghost Tours owns all rights to this material and I will not be compensated.

10. Medical Consent

In case of injury or emergency, I authorize Gold Country Ghost Tours to provide basic medical assistance and/or transportation if needed. I understand they are not required to provide care and that I am financially responsible for any resulting medical costs.

11. Attorney’s Fees

If I violate this agreement and pursue legal action, I will be responsible for all legal fees and costs incurred by the Released Entities in their defense.

12. Severability

If any part of this waiver is found invalid, the remaining terms will still be enforceable.
