Showing dogs and improving the breed through knowledge of the lines and breeding only the best to the best are both our hobby and our passion. Our three daughters learn responsibility in caring for and training our dogs. Showing, like public speaking, builds character and self-control.  Manifesting grace in the face of disappointment is also a very valuable lesson we ALL can learn. 

In AKC Junior Showmanship  in particular, good sportsmanship is a key component of the experience. At a show, you will see all junior participants, whether they won that day or not, congratulate each-other. We are on the road a lot, so the fact that we home-school our girls really helps in that regard. 

Entrepreneurship is a very important life skill that we are teaching with these activities.  Our girls are involved in all of business activities, including sale of "pet" puppies and accounting.
