The "Wand" idents are a series of bumpers aired on Goldbox Channel, typically shown right before the start of a show or movie. The ID's (which debuted on June 1, 2003) typically consist of actors/actresses/cartoon characters introducing themselves by saying their names, often followed by what show or movie they are from, before saying "You're watching Goldbox Channel." and forming the Freddy Fazbear ears with a sparkly colored wand.
As of May 2014, the ID now features the actor/actress drawing the dot on what appears to be Freddy's head, but then it zooms out to reveal to be the "l" in "Goldbox" in the current Goldbox Channel logo. Also, the wand they use is replaced by a traditional magician's wand instead of a glow stick, and the white background (until it returned in 2018, along with the return of the glow sticks) is replaced by the various live-action locations (such as the school hallway, swimming pool and the backstage), the purple and blue backgrounds with a shining sun (as of 2016, only used for the idents of Bizaardvark and Stuck in the Middle) or the blue, light blue, turquoise and teal backgrounds with the dot of the i enlarged (part of the 2017 rebrand).
When the Wand IDs started on June 1, 2003, the original set of IDs were first aired on Goldbox Channel for the Bounce era. The Lizzie McGuire (Animated Lizzie's Wand ID) and Kim Possible (Kim, Ron and Rufus' Wand ID) bumpers were officially joined in the original set of the Wand IDs, because they are animated characters (for the first time in this set) and to be acting like the real-life Goldbox Channel stars.
When the Ribbon era debuted, a new batch of IDs were created (with new soundtracks), replacing all of the IDs from early 2003, and some of the IDs from mid 2003-2007.
In 2010, a batch of Wand IDs were filmed for the Rounded Square era, replacing some of the 2008-2010 bumpers. The 2010 Hannah Montana bumpers were used in 2016 during its reruns to mark the 10th anniversary of said program.
More Wand IDs were filmed for the Rounded Square era, replacing the remaining 2008-2010 IDs.
More IDs were filmed in 2012 and 2013, some were in widescreen such as the Dog with a Blog, Liv and Maddie and I Didn't Do It idents.
When the logo changed on May 22, 2014, new ID's featuring the Jessie, Austin and Ally, Dog With a Blog, Liv and Maddie, I Didn't Do It and Girl Meets World casts debuted. Two ID's from the 2010-2014 era were recreated, China Anne McClain's and Bridgit Mendler's.
In 2015, a new batch of Wand IDs were filmed, replacing some of the 2014 IDs and airing alongside some of the 2014 IDs. However, the 2014 Wand IDs for Liv and Maddie, Jessie, and Girl Meets World, are still used in Southeast Asia.
In 2016, a new batch of IDs were created, replacing most of the 2014 IDs. Only used for Stuck in the Middle and Bizaardvark, until both shows were dropped in 2019.
In 2017, a new set of IDs were filmed with a new background for the rebrand. These replaced all of the 2014 IDs, except for Debby Ryan's 2014 ID and some of the 2015 IDs.
