NEW !!! Presentation Resources Available in several languages.
In partnership with the Department of Developmental Services, Regional Centers of California, and Disability Rights of California -- Disaster Preparedness Go Kits and Preparedness Trainings are now available for those individuals identified as being at high risk for fire or other disasters.
Trainings are designed for CLIENTS to attend and can be supported by their vendors or care providers. Go-Kits are specifically designed for clients of the regional center.
Please note: Completing the training does not automatically get you a Go Kit. Only qualified clients are eligible to receive a Go Kit. Each regional center has a roster of clients who have been identified as eligible based on criteria such as their residential status and California Public Utilities Commission High Threat Fire Zone, but other criteria placing clients in high risk may also be considered. If you are not sure if you qualify to receive a Go Kit, please reach out to your service coordinator or the emergency coordinator at your regional center before completing the training.
