Gökhan Dilek

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Barcelona School of Economics.

My thesis focuses on environmental policy analysis and evaluation, using panel data econometrics, causal inference, and input-output models. I have an active research agenda on renewable energy communities.

My paper "Carbon Pricing Effects on Renewables: Evidence from California's Electricity Market" is accepted for publication by Energy Economics (co-authored with Jordi Teixidó and Mònica Serrano).

I did a research visit at the University of Duisburg-Essen Institute of Socioeconomics in July-November 2025.

I am on the 2025-2026 Economics Job Market.
